Xiaomi’s 12 Ultra has become a little clearer this week. It will be one of the first smartphones with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. On the front, it will have a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED (its predecessor had a 6.81-inch non-LTPO). The camera hardware might be unchanged from the Mi 11 Ultra, which is still very capable today – a 50MP main camera with the largest sensor in a phone (possibly a new iteration of it) and a pair of 48MP half-inch sensors for the Ultrawide – and 5x periscope zoom cameras. The Leica logo will grace the 12 Ultra.
The battery will be a slightly smaller 4,800mAh package with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. All that’s missing now is an official announcement date.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 14 Pro will finally adopt an autofocus selfie camera. It will also have a higher quality 6P lens and a bright f/1.9 aperture.
