Tyrese Gibson announces split from girlfriend Zelie Timothy amid bizarre social media chatter: ‘I’m single now’
R&B singer Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram on Thursday with a series of passionate posts.
It came after his split from his on-off girlfriend, influencer Zelie Timothy.
In one of his lengthy captions, the Fast and Furious actor said, “I’m single now and want everyone to DM have fun with @zelietimothy.”

It began with a bizarre 16-second video of a small deer wrapped in a snake’s grip.
The musician wrote: “Stop trying to convince me your daughter isn’t a SNAKE. I just want to be liberated from that strong devilish lure, the sexual seduction of a master manipulator who knows how it’s done [ convince everyone that she’s not mean of there to KILL YOU ].’
The quirky post continued: “Please God RELEASE ME – RELEASE ME FROM YOUR POISON, RELEASE ME FROM YOUR FEST, RELEASE ME, I BELONG TO THE KINGDOM……. I HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO DO.’
The California-raised music artist then explained that he wants to “get married and settle down,” adding that he “really, really wants to NEST and embrace the COMFORTS of that FAMILY AND MARRIAGE LIFE.”

The one-time hitmaker continued, “I want to stay home and be the hard-working family man that I am.”
The former couple first went public with their romance in March 2021 following his divorce from Samantha Lee.
In another post uploaded Thursday morning, the crooner shared a video posted by Hot97 host DJ Envy.
In a scattered caption speaking to the socialite, Tyrese wrote, “I want the mansion and the family and the wife and the 4 wheelers and the 700 acres.”
Elsewhere in the note, he said, “I’m single now and I hate that shit every day. I hate it bro, I hate it.”
Message: Tyrese shared with fans that he has a desire to “get married and stay married for the rest of my life.”
Weakness: Gibson wrote that he wanted “to be rid of this strong devilish attraction,” as he indirectly referred to Timothy
In a separate post, the 2 Fast 2 Furious actor shared a snap of an unidentified woman and wrote: “I just follow the sexiest people on Instagram and I get in trouble for ‘liking’ their post.
Then he added: “I just want to feed you and we go to church together. I’m lost out here without my wife and family…… I can’t be stable if my HOME isn’t stable…..”
Tyrese spoke about the importance of “stability” when he wrote: “Stability matters, I’ve got the money I’ve got [ mansions ] I have everything you need. I just need to figure out how to get married and STAY MARRIED for the rest of my life…… Who’s got the secret? I’m ready to listen and lean.’

Amid the series of posts, Zelie also took to Instagram to indirectly address her ex’s tirade.
In the app’s Stories feature, she wrote for her 530,000 followers to see: “You’re about emotions NOT facts!
“Hurt people hurt people and I’m the wrong guy to get hurt!”
It’s not the first time the couple has quit. Last September, Hot97 reported that the couple had split.
