Travis Barker appeared to be on the mend after his shocking hospitalization for “life-threatening pancreatitis” when he was spotted driving with his wife Kourtney Kardashian on Monday.
During the Calabasas jaunt, the 46-year-old drummer was spotted for the first time since being discharged from the hospital.
The rocker looked revitalized with his 43-year-old reality star wife as they cruised in his orange Chevy CST pickup truck.

He appeared to be wearing a black ski hat or headband under his matching black hoodie.
Kourtney wore her long raven locks loose and they swept in the wind and danced across her face.
The couple sat in the front bucket seats and appeared to be accompanied by a third person seated in the middle of the back row.

Kourtney and Travis appeared to be joined in the truck by two others in the back seat.
A smaller figure was hooded and appeared to be accompanied by another person on the driver’s side.
It’s not clear if the other passengers were Travis’ or Kourtney’s children, but a video Kourtney posted to her Instagram Stories showed them with their daughter Penelope, 9, and youngest son Reign, 7. driving around in the truck.

In her videos from one of her rides, Kourtney wore a black, wide-brimmed Prada hat, which he held down with her hand to keep it from blowing away in the wind, even though it had a cord under her chin.
She looked relaxed and casual in a white tank top over a black bikini top, along with a black shrug that covered her arms and shoulders.

Travis had been hospitalized a week earlier with “life-threatening pancreatitis,” which he said appeared to have been caused by an endoscopy he went to on Monday last week.
“I went for an endoscopy on Monday and felt great. But after dinner I went into excruciating pain and have since been hospitalized,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories on Saturday.
“During the endoscopy I had a very small polyp removed in a very sensitive location that would normally be treated by specialists and unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.”
In conclusion, he shared how “very, very grateful” he was that he was “doing much better” after the “intensive treatment”.

In her own social media statement, Kourtney wrote, “Oh what a scary and emotional week this has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.
She continued: “I am so thankful to God for healing my husband, for all your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and grateful.
“I am so grateful to our specialists, doctors and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and I during our stay.”
In a follow-up post, she wrote, “It’s crazy how sometimes words can never really express the gratitude or feelings I have inside.”
