The family of social media influencer Arisara Karbdecho, 27, has confirmed the star has died, after falling into a coma earlier this year.

The Thai model and social media star choked on a meal of pork skewers and sticky rice in March after rushing to eat her dinner.

Arisara died on June 6, several months after he first fell into a coma following the unusual choking incident.

Supicha, 57, the late star’s mother, explained how her daughter was always in a rush and had been busy when she ate her meal quickly earlier this year, with the food lodged in her throat and causing her to choke .

The Thai star’s friends and family have spoken out following his heartbreaking death

Arisara – better known by her online nickname Alicebambam – was rushed to hospital but doctors said it was “nine minutes too late” because the internet celebrity’s brain had been deprived of too many ‘oxygen.

The popular star was placed on life support until her death was confirmed on Monday.

Arisara’s girlfriend Sirikanda Chaiburut has revealed that a wake will be held for her until June 10 and she will be buried the following day.

“We were shocked when the accident happened, but we were all praying for her to get better,” the late star’s friend said following her death.

“She was so young and so beautiful. I’m devastated that she’s gone forever.”

Arisara’s grieving mother, Supicha Supicha, also spoke out after her daughter’s death, reminding teenagers to take care of their health.

“I would like to remind all teenagers to take care of their health, eat on time and get enough rest,” she said after the social media star’s death was confirmed.

“If I was with her, this kind of tragedy wouldn’t have happened. And I don’t want this kind of thing to happen to anyone or any family anymore.”

Arisara had more than two million followers on Facebook and Instagram, and had become known online for her sexy snaps and for losing seven pounds in 22 days.
