Both leaders in their respective verticals, companies launch program in time for Financial Literacy Month

The partnership between Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF) and Nearpod comes at a time when the need for a standards-aligned financial literacy program is undeniable. National Endowment for Financial Education research on high school students shows that after a three-month financial literacy course, 60% of students had changed their savings habits, 80% said they were saving for what they really needed or wanted and 20% said they save every time they make money.

The obvious and immediate positive impact of financial literacy on the lives of students also has an impact on policy. At the end of last month, Florida joined 11 other states as it guaranteed personal finance course for all high school students.
