The Wagner family mourns the loss of Harrison Wagner, who was found dead Monday at the age of 27 in a parking lot in Los Angeles.
He was a musician and the son of Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner and When Calls The Heart actress Kristina Wagner.
Her brother Peter, 31, and Top Gun: Maverick actress girlfriend Sophia Bui, 27, took to Instagram to share their tributes.
It comes just as the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office said it needed to further investigate the cause of death.
Harrison struggled with drug addiction for many years and even disappeared for a week in 2016, but it’s not yet known if that was the cause of his death.

On Wednesday, a statement was released by the spokesperson for the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office.
They are still investigating the details surrounding the death.
“The cause of death is deferred,” the spokesperson explained.

“Deferred means that after an autopsy the cause of death has not been determined and the medical examiner is requesting a further investigation into the death, including additional studies.
“Once the tests/studies have returned, the physician re-evaluates the case and determines the cause of death,” the statement also said.

Fans were shocked when news broke Tuesday that Harrison had passed away.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said Harrison was pronounced dead in North Hollywood at 5:14 a.m. local time, and his cause of death is currently being investigated.
Harrison’s last Instagram post was on May 22. He was seen sitting alone as his caption read: ‘Focus. YOU are left with YOU and your thoughts.

On May 20, Kristina shared her latest Instagram post. She was seen sitting with her sons Peter and Harrison on the stairs of a house.
“A bittersweet farewell to the place we called Wagner Ranch for 25 years,” the star wrote.
“The thorny beauty of the high desert and a landscape surrounded by national forests have always reminded us that there is peace when you are willing to seek it. Oh Ranch, it’s time to part ways. We will miss you so much with our fond memories. We know there are many opportunities for joy ahead of us.
Jack welcomed Harrison in December 1994 with his then-wife, actress Kristina Wagner.
She had a successful career in Hollywood and is best known for her TV show When Calls The Heart as well as the films Children of Internment and The Storyteller.
Together, Jack and Kristina also have a 31-year-old son, Peter.
The couple married in 1993 and divorced in 2006.
Jack also has daughter Kerry, who was born in 1988 after having a one-night stand with a woman.
In 2016, Harrison was reported missing.
Harrison had left a week after a relapse, shared by his father.
“I’m going to ask anyone who wants to share their fears, addictions and struggles to do so with me via Twitter. We can face them together, I’ll start,” Jack said.
“I fear for the safety of my youngest son,” he later added. ‘Harrison struggled with drugs and alcohol like me when I was younger. He relapsed and is MIA 5 days.’
In 2018, Wagner said the death of his idol, rapper Mac Miller, was a wake-up call.
He tweeted: “This is a wake-up call for those still using and suffering from the disease.”
