Jacques O’Neill has hinted he could leave the Love Island villa as he said there was no point in him being there after his romance with Paige Thorne fell through.
The 23-year-old rugby player appeared emotional as he confided in Luca Bish about his relationship with the 23-year-old paramedic.
In Thursday night’s Recoupling episode, Paige returned from Casa Amor and reunited with Jacques, only for his infidelity to be exposed by bombshell Cheyanne Kerr.

Paige then confronted Jacques and was devastated after finding out that he had shared kisses with Cheyanne in the three days they had been apart.
And in a preview clip for Friday night’s episode, Jacques told his pal Luca, 23, that there was “no point” in him staying at the villa.
Between tears, an emotional Jacques whispered, “There’s no point in my being here.”
The fishmonger tried to calm his friend down and said, “Dude, she’ll forgive you.”

Emotional: Paige was then seen crying as she broke down with Dami Hope after learning of Jacques’ infidelity
But Jacques insisted: “I will not let her forgive me.”
Elsewhere in the preview clip, an angry Paige could be heard asking Jacques, “What the hell have you been doing all this time, Jacques?”
Paige was then seen crying as she broke down to Dami Hope, although fans pointed out that he wasn’t the best person to confide in him for goading the boys into hooking up with the new girls.
On Friday night’s episode, Paige will also ask Jacques why he kissed Cheyanne if he “sincerely” liked her.
In a tense chat, Paige says, “I understand Casa is a test, but it’s only a test if you want it to be a test, and you only want tests if you feel something is missing or.” when you feel that something is not 100 percent.
Elsewhere in the preview clip, an angry Paige could be heard asking Jacques about his time when she was at Casa Amor: “What the hell have you been doing all this time Jacques?”
“Why did you do it if you didn’t have any of those things with her? [Cheyanne] Or did you really feel that way about me? Because it doesn’t add up. I’m not sure you fully understand how—”
To which Jacques says, “Look, I know you’re hurt, mate, I know you are. They deserve better…’
But Paige asks, ‘Well, why couldn’t you have just been better then?’
In Thursday’s Recoupling episode, Jacques initially decided he would stay with Paige, leaving the brunette visibly pleased when she returned to the villa alone.
But he found himself at the head of an angry row when his infidelity was exposed by blonde bombshell Cheyanne.

When Jacques admitted that he had decided to stay loyal, Cheyanne was visibly angry and didn’t hold back when asked by host Laura Whitmore if she was disappointed that none of the boys chose her.
She revealed, “I thought I had a connection to someone… I suppose my version of a test was different than someone else’s…”
When asked which boy she felt connected to, Cheyanne turned to Jacques and said his name, leaving him visibly angry and Paige completely speechless.
In an attempt to justify his decision, Jacques said, “I wanted to see what I have with Paige is real. I wanted to see if something could be better…but it wasn’t.’

“It’s not really what you want to hear when you come back.” Paige added, insisting she was staying loyal to Casa Amor.
Paige then pulled Jacques aside to confront him about his behavior, quickly admitting, “One night we had a good talk and we kissed… after that I went to bed and we had another kiss. If you can’t accept that, then I understand if it takes a few days or a few weeks.”
Paige added, “You can meet people without kissing them, I would never do that to someone I care about,” and burst into tears as she ran into the mansion.
The Love Island villa drama continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub. Episodes are available on BritBox the next morning.
