Lily Allen fans were left unimpressed after she was dubbed “David Harbour’s wife” in a viral TikTok clip.
The pair have both made successful careers for themselves, but it seems some younger social media users haven’t heard from Lily, 37.
A TikTok user shared a clip of Lily Allen’s debut single, Smile, along with the caption, “Y’all I just found out David Harbor’s wife is singing this song.”

Many fans weren’t happy that Lily – who has sold millions of records worldwide – is only referred to as her husband’s wife.
In response to the clip, one Twitter user wrote: “How dare people call Lily Allen ‘David Harbour’s wife'”.
Another said: “Lily Allen literally raised a whole generation and now she’s just been relegated to David Harbour’s wife?! Respect her name.”
Another fan added: “Lily Allen didn’t rhyme Tesco with Alfresco just for you to call her ‘David Harbour’s wife’. It’s blasphemy.

Others joked about referring to Stranger Things star David in the same way, with one sharing a photo of him writing, “He knows his name is Mr. Lily Allen.”
Another shared a photo of Lily posing with David and her younger brother Alfie, writing, “I know them as Lily Allen’s brother and Lily Allen’s husband.”
David and Lily wed in Las Vegas in September 2020, with the ceremony being performed by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The Stranger Things actor is now stepdad to Lily’s daughters Ethel, 10, and Marnie, 9, who she shares with her ex Sam Cooper.
