The Duke of Cambridge’s children were captured in good spirits in a photo released on Father’s Day.
Taken in Jordan last fall, Prince Louis – who recently starred in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – is on his father’s shoulders with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on either side.
The three royal children – aged eight, seven and four – have huge smiles on their faces, captured against a sandy and rocky backdrop.
The Duke of Cambridge, dressed casually in a t-shirt and shorts, looks happy and relaxed on a family vacation.
George and his father wear khaki-colored outfits, while the younger children are dressed in navy blue and white tops.
William and Kate also used a photograph of Jordan for their official 2021 Christmas card.
Louis’ childhood playfulness will be familiar to those who watched his antics during the recent Platinum Jubilee weekend.
He stole the hearts of the nation by pulling all of his nastiest faces in the flypast on the first day of the celebrations.
Then, on Sunday afternoon, when the Jubilee Pageant walked up The Mall, he was in top form again – making funny faces at his mother and putting her hand over her mouth when she spoke to him, much to the delight of those who were watching on television. .
Mile Tindall, who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter Zara, said there was “lots of sweets” around and Louis was on “full sugar”.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then thanked the public for a ‘fantastic’ Platinum Jubilee weekend, saying they and their family had an amazing time – “especially Louis”.
