5 reasons why the REDMAGIC 7 is a sublime gaming phone

Any phone (1) coming with a 45W charger?

(Pocket-lint) – The problem with trying to launch a new device is that the certification process for that device will reveal a whole range of details.

Such is the case with this latest leak, which suggests that the Nothing(1) phone will come with a 45W charger. The information comes from the standards agency TUV certifying a Nothing branded charger.

We already know that the Nothing(1) phone will be announced on July 12 at an event in London and in the month until then we expect to hear a lot more about the device.

Nothing’s goal is to create a technology brand free from the restrictions found elsewhere. It wants to create an uncompromising super ecosystem that can rival Apple, but work not only with its own devices but also with key partners.

The Nothing(1) phone will arguably be the most important part of the puzzle, as it will be at the heart of the system.

We know that from a design perspective there will be some translucency in the design and that the wireless charging coil is a central part of that design – but probably the most important thing about this phone is the optimization: this is what will drive all sorts of ecosystem ambitions.

As for the battery, we don’t know the capacity yet, but thanks to this leak we know it’s likely to offer 45W charging. Whether that’s just 45W wired charging or whether it expands to 45W wireless charging as well, remains to be seen.

Certainly, for OnePlus fans and followers of Carl Pei’s story, it’s an exciting time as we prepare for the launch of Nothing’s first smartphone.
